This is a very precious part of my website.

Here you will know what Mother Nature has decided on what we have planned.

For each litter we very carefully weigh the pro and cons of a mating.

Since more than twenty years all our dogs are heart screened and since years our litters are shunt tested.

1990 was the year Dr Vollmar presented her plan for heart screening in Germany and the Kennel « von den Sarrazenen » was the first one who decided to test all their dogs. That is why Day was tested among the very first. Till then we have tested all our stud dogs.

A few years later, as there were many puppies born with a shunt, in a lot of kennels, we decided to increase the chance of each puppy here by testing them before they leave the Kennel. For the first tested litter we had to take the puppies to the university of Liège as in Luxembourg it wasn’t common to do this test. Now thanks to our veterinary we do this here.
